The small resort of Agios Stephanos is renowned as being one of the most attractive places to stay on the upmarket north-east coast of Corfu. This picturesque fishing village has a charming, traditional feel to it and a beautiful little harbour. Whilst offering a good range of facilities to its visitors, Agios Stephanos has escaped the downfalls of some of the more overdeveloped tourist resorts.
In addition to its choice of shops and excellent tavernas, Agios Stephanos has its own small, pretty beach with wooden jettys which are ideal for sunbathing or fishing - or you could take a trip to the blue flag beaches of Kerasia, which are only a twenty minute walk away through some lovely countryside. The stunning Avlaki beach with its watersports, tavernas and dinghy sailing school, is also just a short drive away.
Agios Stephanos has so much to offer: a beautiful village in a peaceful location; superb beaches right on your doorstep; wonderful views of the mainland and Albania. Little wonder then that visitors choose to return to this heavenly spot time and time again.
