'Now is the time' to visit Athens

Now is the perfect time to visit Athens before the summer heat, according to one travel industry commentator.
Writing for the Daily Mirror, Sarah Whitefield King described some of the best things to do while on holiday in the Greek capital.
To avoid the heat she suggested exploring the Acropolis Museum where people can view the Elgin Marbles or taking a sailing trip to Aegina and seeing the sights of Perdika fishing village.
She recommended holidaymakers sample the food and drink at one of the many tavernas in Plaka or splash out for evening views of the Parthenon from the roof garden at the Hotel Grande.
Taking advantage of the free attractions is advised, in particular browsing for antiques, books and traditional Turkish souvenirs at Monastiraki flea market on a Sunday morning.
Writing for the Business World Weekender, Jessica Anne Hermosa recounted her recent visit to the ancient capital and described it as a "beautiful city".
